    Modern DAMASCUS owes its appearance in America to the "Father of American DAMASCUS" Master Bladesmith W.F. "Bill" Moran Jr. founder and past president of the American Bladesmith Society. In the past we were proud to present the DAMASCUS USA/Moran Award for "Best DAMASCUS Knife of Show"  at major knife shows that we attended.

    After severe illness in 1996 , Open Heart Surgery, followed by yet another dose of the same in 2000, we unfortunately are not able to continue displaying at the major Knife Shows. However, with some help from family and friends, we can still provide you the world's very best in DAMASCUS steel. I am happy to announce (Ha, Ha) that I have just survived my THIRD Open Heart... a valve job this time around!!
